So long story short, my in laws ended up with a bus over Easter Break...it was pretty fun to cruise around in it for a few minutes...I forgot how bumpy some of the older buses are though, especially when you are on a dirt road...
It's always kind of fun to play with filters and spark some creativity...I wanted to see just how close I could get to an eye and make the iris really stand out...The pattern inside the iris is amazing to me...
Well, life has definitely been busy these past few months. I am finally all caught up with photos and ready to take on a different assignment for a few months.
I have teamed up with a few friends and created Project 52 (www.project52.net). We are taking a themed photo per week and seeing how far our creativity will take us.
It's a fun ride and makes us all think a little more about why we are photographing at all. It's a great way for me to let out some creativity and regain some new perspective on things.
Check it out, and email us with suggestions, comments, theme ideas, encouragement,...
I have known Ben for a few years and had several opportunities to listen to his music and see him perform. Check out his myspace page here. I knew that taking their photos would be nothing short of an experience and I have to say that Ben & Sarah were a blast to work with. They were up for pretty much up for anything and made each other laugh all afternoon. It's a great experience to be part of something special and I am looking forward to their wedding in a few months.

It was a nice break in the middle of senior photos and weddings to be able to take part in my church's worship concert. I even got to design the flyer for them and help out with the whole thing. We had a lot of fun catching up with some great people from my college years and getting to hear some amazing music. Videos are coming soon. Check back for a link sometime in the next few days, weeks, months, or whenever we get caught up with all of the photos.....

You know those times when people tell you that they have some cool stuff sitting in the middle of a field, and that it might be a cool place to take photos, and you're not sure what to think? This time it was definitely a great place. Some friends of ours had some amazing stuff randomly sitting in the middle of nowhere and we went a little crazy taking photos as soon as we got there.
Since we took the first round of Kindra's photos this summer, she wanted to get some pictures after the colors had turned and things had cooled off. I am definitely glad that she decided she wanted more. ...
