Kristin and Luke were a great couple to work with, and as the day progressed you could tell that something special was going on...there were a ton of people there to support them as they start their lives as a new family and everyone was having a great time celebrating...It was a treat to photograph their wedding and get to know them a little better....enjoy the photos!
Well, I am ridiculously far behind on editing photos, but burning the midnight oil to get caught up..I was excited to see some of Tessah's senior photos though and had to edit a few right away when I got home...I have also been trying a few different stylings and colorings to see what look I really like the best...Click on Tessah's name at the top and you can leave a comment at the bottom of the post...
We had perfect weather all day and just a gentle breeze..Tessah had a charming and bubbly personality and there were very few moments when she wasn't smiling about something....We have round...
I am getting caught up on photos, but I had to throw some of Laine's photos up on here since I was having fun with them...I have to admit that Laine knew the poses, etc that he wanted, but he let me loose with camera angles and lighting and we had a great time experimenting with his photos....He has some more crazy ideas and we will keep adding photos up on here as we get more shot...
Amidst all the craziness of schedules and school starting back up, we got to spend some time with Katie and Shane and had a lot of fun walking around, making them do some odd things for posing that I really liked, and ultimately getting some good street pics of them to celebrate their engagement...I am excited for their upcoming wedding and will post pics back on here next month...
What can I say...Josh was a ton of fun to work with and a great kid all around....We had a lot of fun taking his photos and even lucked out to find the old train engine parked in a good spot...He wanted something unique and even let me play around with lighting a little to get a sweet shot of him and his paintball guns...Check out the photos and drop a comment...
Well, like normal, life gets busy and I am behind on posting....At any rate, we joined Dusty and Jamie for their wedding day at the Governor's mansion in Rapid City, SD...It was definitely a warm day and we were thankful for their fan/programs to keep us cool...great people, great friends, and a beautiful day make for an amazing wedding and celebration of life to come...it was great working with them and see them start their new life together...
Scott & Jamie's wedding was a lot of fun and it's great to be part of a day where two people in love get to say "I DO" in front of their friends and family. They are a great couple and Amy and I felt blessed to take part in their wedding...On a side note..I was fascinated with their M&M wall too since they pictures of themselves on the candy for all of their guests to take home....
Amy and I were expecting our second child (as you may notice by the set of pregnancy photos) and Ezra was born on May 30th. We wanted photos that were simple and clean and would integrate well into baby announcements. I am finding out that I favor two types of shots, those that are really smple and clean, and then a grungy style as well...It's always interesting to look back and see the shots from the past year...
At any rate, here are our photos of Ezra...
My wife is due any day now and we wanted to take some pictures before the baby arrives. This was my first attempt at it, and we didn't take too many photos...She mainly wanted a good single shot and a profile pic...
Long story short...It has been hectic since Christmas with classes, family, and life in general...things are slowing down for a short while (a few weeks if I am lucky) and we had time to help some friends out...Project 52 also has been eating some of my free time and it has been nice to focus on photography for the sake of creativity...
This past weekend we got to take photos for the band Afterlife (www.afterlifebandrocks.com)
