I don't use the word "epic" all that often (except when referring to most songs by Flight of the Conchords) but Zach's senior picture experience may be bordering on epic status. I could try to describe all the craziness that we started with, but words wouldn't do it justice by any means. You had to experience it to truly appreciate it. Zach and I had a great time though and got some images that are pretty unique and a little different from the norm. He's a great kid and was a ton of fun to photograph. I will be adding more as I catch up with my editing, but wanted to give you a teaser...
We kept driving and driving, avoiding cows and potholes, and when she turned up a steep hill I began to get a little nervous. Once we rounded the corner and I could see her cousin's farm, I felt much better and I knew that Lindsey was going to have some great pictures. This place was full of great props and the color was amazing as the sun shone through the hills. This is a quick edit, keep checking back for more as I finish up projects!
I've added something new by doing a little before and after. I'm one of those editors that wants to keep the original feel of the photo without...
It's been a crazy month and the weather has been about as random as it can be for Fall, so I was glad to get a perfect September day to shoot some photos with Endrias. We found some new places around town and even managed to make a trip to the golf course as the sun was setting. It was a perfect day and we got some great images captured. More pictures to come, but enjoy the teaser!
I was super pumped about Sarah's senior pictures since we got to shoot them down in Omaha, Nebraska over Labor Day. I have known her for a long time and her family has been a huge part of my life. We had a great time working around the rain and waiting for the wind to die down most of the time, but it ended up being absolutely perfect and her pictures turned out gorgeous. This is a small teaser with plenty of photos to come later.
Lindsey was my first senior of the year and it was a perfect day for shooting. Lindsey got to cruise around in a brand new Mustang for a few photos, and I have to admit that I almost went in to the dealership to sign the papers on the car after we took the pictures. It was a great day with perfect weather and I am excited for a second shoot with her this fall.
It happened to be a random chance event where Tessah had an open day, I did too, and there was still some snow on the ground. We were kind of worried that we might not have any left at all, but on the way to our location, it started raining, and then right as Tessah stepped out of her car, we started to get slowly falling snow...Unfortunately it continued to pick up until we couldn't see each other anymore, but we still got some great pics and had some fun in the snow...
Well, I am ridiculously far behind on editing photos, but burning the midnight oil to get caught up..I was excited to see some of Tessah's senior photos though and had to edit a few right away when I got home...I have also been trying a few different stylings and colorings to see what look I really like the best...Click on Tessah's name at the top and you can leave a comment at the bottom of the post...
We had perfect weather all day and just a gentle breeze..Tessah had a charming and bubbly personality and there were very few moments when she wasn't smiling about something....We have round...
I am getting caught up on photos, but I had to throw some of Laine's photos up on here since I was having fun with them...I have to admit that Laine knew the poses, etc that he wanted, but he let me loose with camera angles and lighting and we had a great time experimenting with his photos....He has some more crazy ideas and we will keep adding photos up on here as we get more shot...
What can I say...Josh was a ton of fun to work with and a great kid all around....We had a lot of fun taking his photos and even lucked out to find the old train engine parked in a good spot...He wanted something unique and even let me play around with lighting a little to get a sweet shot of him and his paintball guns...Check out the photos and drop a comment...
You know those times when people tell you that they have some cool stuff sitting in the middle of a field, and that it might be a cool place to take photos, and you're not sure what to think? This time it was definitely a great place. Some friends of ours had some amazing stuff randomly sitting in the middle of nowhere and we went a little crazy taking photos as soon as we got there.
Since we took the first round of Kindra's photos this summer, she wanted to get some pictures after the colors had turned and things had cooled off. I am definitely glad that she decided she wanted more. ...
