Ezra…new life

Amy and I were expecting our second child (as you may notice by the set of pregnancy photos) and Ezra was born on May 30th. We wanted photos that were simple and clean and would integrate well into baby announcements. I am finding out that I favor two types of shots, those that are really smple and clean, and then a grungy style as well…It’s always interesting to look back and see the shots from the past year…

It’s been a little busy around here and with the snow approaching, we though we would try to squeeze in some family photos before the weather turns…We have known Zach and Kendra for a few years and glad to call them friends…their kids are great and a lot of fun and pretty much up for anything…It was a great way to spend a slightly chilly Wednesday afternoon with some great friends…

I love fall days…If nothing else, I love that there are leaves on the ground that add texture that you only get for a few weeks a year…Chadron State Park is a great place to take photos and the colors of fall were definitely starting to pop out while we were there…
I have known Jeff & Jennifer for a little while now and have known Jeff’s parents for a long time and can honestly say that when it comes to great people, they are all phenomenal…I was glad to be a part of their Saturday afternoon and it’s always a good feeling to be around great people…
Drew, Cindy, and Ashley

I was able to squeeze in one family photo session before the weddings started…Drew, Cindy and Ashley were on their way through Chadron and stopped for a quick trip to the park…It was a great time and they were a wonderful family to spend an hour with…Ashley loved the park too, especially the slide….
I love being able to hang back and let the family be themselves…I don’t think you can really pose pictures like this and get the same expressions…Thanks again guys for letting me spend some time with you….It was a privilege and I would do it again anytime…

I have known Drew and Kelsey for quite a while now and have been able to share in their lives on several occasions and honored to call them friends…Their parent’s anniversary was coming up and they wanted to do something special to say thanks…it was a beautiful day to be outside and we had a lot fun just hanging out…
