Kyle & Courtney

Kyle and Courtney had an amazing wedding day!  I able was to spend some time with Courtney before the wedding as she got her hair done and dress on, and I loved seeing how excited everyone was for her and Kyle as they got closer to go time.  Kyle and Courtney were surrounded by great friends and family throughout the day and the weather was absolutely perfect for a wedding.  Enjoy the photos!  Full album here.

Jared & Leah

Jared and Leah had a beautiful wedding at Black Hills Rentals and Receptions in Rapid City.  They were joined by family and friends armed with umbrellas and blankets to fend against the weather and the rain let up just enough for Leah to walk down the aisle without an umbrella.  They are a great couple and I had a blast snapping pictures of them all day long.  Enjoy the photos!  Full album here.

Baby Week

I have to admit, I have very little experience photographing little ones.  I have taken photos of my two kids, but not much beyond that.  So while I had a small window of opportunity, I decided to volunteer my services for some practice on two little adorable babies.   I ended up taking pictures of Malachi and Adalin just a few days apart and got to try my hand at baby photography with some very patient parents.  We stopped for bottle breaks and diaper changes, but kept on taking cute photos of two very precious girls.  I know their parents are proud of them and I am glad that I get to be part...

Charlie & Shellie

I think you will have to agree that Charlie and Shellie had a beautiful wedding.  It was a slightly chilly May day, but the weather held and it turned out to be an amazing day.  Shellie did a great job planning her wedding and the details fit them perfectly.  Charlie did have a contagious smile too (even if he was holding her flowers for her :).  They left their wedding in style in one of Charlie's classic cars and had a great live band to entertain their friends.  Full album here.

Kyle & Mandy

You know those slightly chilly days where people brave the weather to catch a glimpse of something special they have been waiting for?  That was Kyle and Mandy's wedding day (cheesy, yeah I know)...  It was a slightly windy, slightly chilly April day but the weather worked out great for a wedding at Camp Norwesca. They were joined by a great wedding party, supportive family, and a bunch of bundled up friends to celebrate their wedding day.  I was glad to be able to document their wedding day and be part of their new beginning.  Enjoy the photos!  Full album here.

Tessah Part 2

It happened to be a random chance event where Tessah had an open day, I did too, and there was still some snow on the ground.  We were kind of worried that we might not have any left at all, but on the way to our location, it started raining, and then right as Tessah stepped out of her car, we started to get slowly falling snow...Unfortunately it continued to pick up until we couldn't see each other anymore, but we still got some great pics and had some fun in the snow...

Happy Valentine’s Day

I got a photographic first this year!  I had never taken a photo of someone's pets, but had a good time playing with these two.  Buster and Blossom were a pair of lively little puppies and managed to sit still for a few minutes.  I got some good photos, and they managed to get a good Valentine's photo.

Katie & Shane

I had been excited for Katie and Shane's wedding since I took their engagement photos a few months ago.  They are a great couple and we had a ton of fun from the moment I started taking pictures of Katie getting ready to all of the people who left messages in their photographs.   I even got my first ride in a vintage GTO (my dream car from my teenage years)!  It was a great day with perfect weather and a lot of awesome people.  Check out the pics and enjoy!  I was also assisted by Gina Campbell @ http://www.jzeena.smugmug.com/ Much thanks to her for the assistance!

Ty & Whitney

Ty & Whitney were my first Sunday wedding ever (I did take Monday off from my other job :) and it was a blast.  The whole day was packed with "little things" that had importance to them and you could feel that something special was going on as family and friends streamed in to celebrate their wedding.  Whitney had an amazing group of bridesmaids and Ty had a a great group of guys that kept things rolling and everyone in good spirits.  It was a blast to be their photographer and I am glad they allowed me to share their day with them and their families.

Kimmy & Daniel

I have known Kimmy for a few years (she was actually part of our adopted college family) and it was an honor to be part of their wedding.  Kimmy and Daniel were great to spend time with and they picked out a few locations for photos that in the end suited them perfectly.  From arriving in an air-conditioned ambulance, taking photos at Fort Robinson and leaving the wedding in an old fire truck it was a great wedding with a lot of unique elements that added to their day.  It was a beautiful day and the start of a beautiful marriage between two great people.
